Hi, I'm Steph! Thanks for taking the time to come tour the factory, I hope you like it here and come back often! I'm a full-time working mom to a wonderful little boy named Mason. Cloth diapering is near and dear to my heart for many reasons. Not only is it a cute and fun hobby for moms, it also allows us to do our part in helping the environment and keep nasty toxins away from our babies.
I'm happy to be able to provide a product that can help, even if a tiny bit, in making the world a cleaner and safer place for our children.

Hi, I'm Cristy! I am one lucky mama! I have two amazing kiddos and I get to work from home. My son Aaron is three years old and my daughter Molly is one and a half. I started cloth-diapering Aaron when he was just 5 months old and Molly when she was born. It is definitely near and dear to my heart. I run my own online business at home, and I make fun stuff for kiddos and their mamas. My favorite things to make are diapers, which helped bring me to SDF. I am honored to help bring more SDFs into the lives of cloth-diapering families. They are a really fun way to CD and to be nice to our earth.

ABSORBIES HEMP INSERT SIZING: These sizes are for an unwashed insert, insert will shrink 1/2 inch or so after washing
Small:
4.75 x 12 - Perfect for your size small SDF diapers
Medium:
5 x 13 - Perfect for your size medium and tall medium SDF diapers
Large:
5.5 x 14 - Perfect for your size large SDF diapers
Washing Information:
Wash as you would most pocket diapers. I prefer to wash using the "Steph Method" - however please note that the recipe for this method should be adjusted if you have soft water and/or a front-loading HE washing machine.
"Steph Method"
- cold pre-rinse with 1/2 cup baking soda
- hot wash with 2 TBSP Dawn
- cold rinse with 1/2 cup vinegar
- extra rinse if necessary
You do not have to use the "Steph Method" to wash your SDF diapers. Many are very successful with other types of detergent and washing methods such as regular detergents and natural detergents. If you have any specific washing questions please feel free to email me!
Please note that you should never use fabric softener with your diapers or inserts as this product coats the fibers and can cause repelling issues.
ABSORBIES HEMP INSERT WASHING:
Your hemp inserts will need to be prepped before using. Keep in mind that the more they are washed the more they will absorb. Prepping rids the hemp of natural oils, once all of the oils are gone your insert will reach full absorbtion capacity.
Boiling Method: Boil your hemp insert(s) for 20 mintues and then throw into your normal diaper wash routine.
Washing Method: Wash your hemp insert(s) 4-5 times by themselves then they will be ready to use and can be placed in your normal diaper laundry.

Shipping:
SDF currently ships to USA and Canada. I am not responsible for your diapers once they are in the hands of the mail service. First Class shipping should be delivered between 2-9 days. However, please allow up to 14 days for delivery (USPS will not track orders until 14 business days have passed).
I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO PURCHASE INSURANCE FOR YOUR ORDER,
I am not responsible for your diaper once I deliver it to the post office.
Returns/Exchanges/Refunds:
- Returns will be accepted on all unworn/unwashed non-custom diapers within 30 days of
purchase. You will receive your refund as store credit or PayPal refund for the diaper
purchase. You are still responsible for the original shipping as well as shipping it back to
me for refund.
- Refunds will be given for any defective item after you return the item to me. I will not
refund any shipping costs for the original shipping but will refund FIRST CLASS shipping to
me if you opt for the item to be fixed rather than returned. If you opt for shipping over first
class I will still refund the first class amount.
- Custom orders are not returnable.
- All SDF "Seconds" are sold as is. No refund, exchange or in-store credit available.
- SDF offers a lifetime snap replacement on all tagged SDF diapers.
